Randy Billingsley with the San Jacinto Descendants' Organization appeared in period dress and made a wonderful presentation on the life and times of early Texas pioneers.  He later gave some black powder shooting tips to Charles Temme, and instructed Maisie Temme on how to use a Bowie knife when carving one of Charles' deer.
